One-on-One Consultations

Designed specifically for individuals.

Initial Assessment

During the initial assessment phase,  your family’s caregiving situation and recreation therapy needs will be assessed.

  • Free 20-minute phone call
  • A 1-hour face-to-face interview and intake assessment
  • Needs and costs estimation
  • Ongoing email support anytime throughout this process

Personalized Treatment Planning

We’ll develop an action plan and dive deeper into what we hope to achieve in both the short and long-term.

  • Create a unique plan to address your specific needs
  • Set leisure-related goals and objectives based on Initial Assessment
  • Plan a timeline to accomplish goals and objectives in order to ensure follow through and give us a basis for evaluation
  • Ongoing email support and weekly phone calls are included

Continuing Consultation

At this stage, you are putting the plan into action and following up on goals and objectives.

  • Additional face-to-face consultations will be provided if needed or desired based on the plan
  • Goals and objectives are reviewed and evaluated based on the timeline
  • New goals and objectives can be developed as needed or desired
  • Ongoing email support and weekly phone calls are included
  • Generally three continuing consultation sessions are ideal to allow for adequate time for us to work on both short-term and long-term goals

One-on-One Consultations are also offered to businesses who want to improve upon organization of their workspace, implement a wellness program or offer enhanced recreational therapy programs to their clients.  It is always most effective to meet face-to-face, but Skype consults can be arranged for special circumstances.

Leisure Education Program

Tailored for small groups. Perfect for unrelated family caregivers or private family sessions.

Cancellation Policy: We understand that life happens and strive to be as flexible as possible for our clients.Your appointment time is reserved just for you, and if you should need to cancel, please give 24-hours notice. In the event that you fail to provide the required notice, there is a charge of 50% of the planned fee. In the event that you arrive late for the appointment, you will be charged the full fee, even if we cannot meet for the full duration of the time you’ve booked.

Please note that clients will incur a $25 fee for any returned checks.

  • Initial Assessment- $50 flat rate
  • Personalized Treatment Planning- $100/hour
  • Continuing Consultations-$75/hour
  • Leisure Education Courses-$100 per person for 5-week session. Minimum of 4, Maximum 12 participants.
  • Workshops, Trainings, Presentations-($25 per person). Minimum of 10 participants needed to conduct workshop. Flat group rates available for non-profits ($125/hour) and for-profits ($175/hour). One-on-One Consultations for organizations at a rate of $150/hour.

Low Income Families

Sliding scale pricing is available for lower income families.  Please contact space & time directly for more details.
